Sphere Entertainment Co. is hiring a Director Health & Safety Management to lead safety programs across development and construction projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and productive active job sites.

The role partners with Project Directors, construction teams, contractors, and vendors to identify risks, establish controls, and drive continuous improvement, while maintaining a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OH&S, EHS, CM, or related field; OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• 10+ years safety experience on active construction sites; multi-project background.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regs and construction safety standards.
• Ability to work on active job sites, wear PPE, and adapt to changing conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/spoken communication; influence project leadership.
• Travel readiness for international project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead job-site safety programs across active construction sites.
• Conduct field safety oversight: inspections, audits, and risk analyses.
• Partner with Project Directors and managers to embed safety into planning.
• Investigate incidents; develop corrective actions; drive prevention.
• Evaluate contractor safety performance and ensure compliance.
• Deliver site safety training, toolbox talks, and communications.
• Maintain safety records, metrics, and regulatory documentation.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across workforce.
• Ensure exceptional guest/partner experiences by adhering to guidelines.
