TelCom Construction, LLC seeks a Specialist Safety to support the Sr. Safety Manager and Director of Safety & Risk in maintaining the Company Safety Program. You will assist with daily activities, manage driver qualification files, and ensure ongoing safety compliance across teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with administrative experience, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. Competitive benefits and regular pay are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some knowledge of construction safety or telecommunications preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety policies.
• Effective written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize with attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Google-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Maintains driver qualification files and reviews documents.
• Communicates driver status updates and safety compliance internally.
• Classifies new employees in systems and flags compliance issues.
• Reviews Motor Vehicle Reports on hire and annually.
• Updates and distributes safety compliance reports.
• Acts as secretary for company safety committees.
• Sets up and tracks required drug testing and follow-up tests.
• Processes invoices for drug testing and DOT physicals.
• Manages inventory and distribution of safety PPE.
• Assists with SDS program management.
• Analyzes safety data to spot trends and makes recommendations.
• All other duties as assigned.
