TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Safety Specialist to support the Safety Department under the Sr. Safety Manager. This role emphasizes compliance with the company safety program and coordination between field crews and safety leadership.

Responsibilities include maintaining driver qualification files, updating safety reports, coordinating drug testing, and supporting SDS management. A high school diploma with related experience is required, with remote-friendly flexibility for overtime or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of administrative experience.
• Familiarity with construction safety or telecommunications preferred.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic and data entry; ability to multitask with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain driver qualification files and review documents upon hire and as they expire.
• Maintain internal communication on driver status updates and safety compliance.
• Classify and enter new employees into systems; communicate compliance issues to stakeholders.
• Review Motor Vehicle Reports at hire and annually to determine driving eligibility.
• Update and disseminate safety compliance reports.
• Serve as secretary for safety committees; track drug testing requirements.
• Process invoices for drug testing and DOT physicals.
• Manage inventory and distribution of safety equipment and PPE.
• Assist in managing the SDS program.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and advise management.
• All other duties as assigned.
