Job summary

SpawGlass is seeking a Project Safety Assistant to support field safety across our construction projects. You will assist project teams with daily inspections, documentation, training support, and hazard-prevention activities to maintain safe, well-organized, and compliant job sites.

You will work closely with superintendents, project managers, trade partners, and field crews to identify hazards, support corrective actions, maintain safety records, and reinforce company and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction safety or related field preferred, but strong candidates with motivation and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of construction activities and typical jobsite hazards.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support field safety efforts across construction projects with daily inspections, documentation, training support, and hazard-prevention activities.
• Collaborate with superintendents, project managers, trade partners, and field crews to identify hazards, support corrective actions, maintain safety records, and reinforce OSHA requirements.
• Potentially conduct safety talks, lead portions of site orientations, assist incident investigations, and contribute to continuous safety culture improvement.
• Promote a safe and productive jobsite through observant, dependable performance and proactive safety measures.
