Job summary

SMG seeks a Safety Advisor - Construction in Commercial Point, OH for a day shift to oversee site safety during the construction of an automated storage system. The role emphasizes safety observations, reporting, and hazard analysis in a fast-paced construction setting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of construction safety experience and OSHA 30; BSCP/CSP/CHST/STSC certifications are preferred. Non-local candidates may receive a $1,190/week per diem and a $400/month road warrior benefit for this

Qualifications

Three plus years of construction safety experience.
First-aid/CPR certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
OSHA 30-hr Construction.

Responsibilities

Site safety observations and documentation of findings.
Create reports, run safety metrics, and use safety software.
Conduct Job Hazard Analysis.
Represent the contractor in progress meetings.
Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures as required by law, the Owner, and contractors.
Conduct New Hire Orientations and safety meetings.
Provides incident management and support.
Documentation and report preparation.
Conducts Contractor program reviews.
