Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a leading utility construction firm, seeks a Safety Administrator to manage project safety documentation, conduct new hire orientation, and support field crews on the GridLiance West project in Nevada.

The role emphasizes OSHA/DOT compliance, coordination of training, and maintaining audit-ready safety files, with potential for ongoing employment beyond the project.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in safety administration or similar role within construction preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and safety regulations/compliance.
• Experience managing safety documentation and supporting safety training initiatives is a plus.
• OSHA 10/30 and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred and to be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Process and upload daily safety documents to client and company systems.
• Maintain audit-ready project safety files per GridLiance West SSP.
• Coordinate New Hire Orientation at the Jean and Pahrump yards; verify training and certifications.
• Provide field safety support to crews and assist with safety meetings and communications.
• Track incidents, inspections, and corrective actions; report safety statistics to management.
