Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in safety/risk control, relevant certifications, and strong communication skills to influence clients and teams. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in environmental health and safety, engineering, construction management, basic sciences and related technical fields.
• Five years of experience in safety, risk control/management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of insurance industry and business acumen.
• Relevant certifications such as ASP, CSP, ARM, CFPS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent field presence, onsite 20% - 50% with customers.
• Partner with Underwriting to select, retain, and grow a profitable book of business.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with Underwriting, Claim, Risk Control Specialists, and Brokers.
• Complete risk assessment evaluations for moderate to high complex accounts.
• Write technically detailed risk reports and communicate clear recommendations.
• Identify customer needs to provide Risk Control products and services to control losses.
• Stay current with regulations and emerging issues affecting risk control.
• Create a valued customer experience during assessments and service encounters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
