Job summary

PC Construction seeks a Risk Manager to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across multiple projects and programs, including CCIP, SDI, and builder’s risk. The role ensures compliance with regulations and reviews contracts for insurance requirements.

The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years in construction risk management or insurance, with strong analytical and organizational skills and industry knowledge. Onsite work is required in one of several regional offices.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in construction risk management or insurance
• Experience with OCIP/CCIP programs and builder's risk policies
• Ability to review contracts for insurance requirements and risk transfer

Responsibilities

• Identify insurance requirements in bid documents and obtain required coverages (builder’s risk, OCIP/CCIP, etc.).
• Review Owner Contracts, leases, and rental agreements for insurance needs and issue COIs.
• Track subcontractor insurance requirements and develop certificates of insurance for consistency with contracts.
• Communicate insurance requirements to third-party vendors and approve necessary exceptions.
• Maintain schedules of insured projects under master builder’s risk programs and audit carriers.
• Oversee assets' insurable schedules and monitor Riggers’ liability exposures.
• Review OCIP/CCIP manuals, enroll subcontractors, and ensure compliance before on-site work.
• Manage SDI enrollment and quarterly reporting for subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Corporate Safety to maintain workers’ compensation panels and compliance.
• Administer workers’ compensation return-to-work processes and liaise with adjusters.
• Oversee MVRs, annual MVR audits, and COIs for company drivers.
• Process departmental invoices related to projects and maintain broker relationships for program efficiency.
• Coordinate underwriting details for renewals and participate in Operations training.
