Transwestern, a leading commercial real estate firm, seeks a Risk Manager – Construction & Development to identify and manage construction-related risk across national ground-up developments and major capital projects.

You will partner with Development, Construction PM, Legal, Procurement, and Operations to ensure proper risk transfer, insurance placement, and loss prevention throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in risk management, finance, business, or related field.
• Certifications such as CRM/FRM are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate construction-related risk exposures for ground-up developments and major projects.
• Review and negotiate construction contracts to ensure risk transfer and indemnities are aligned with company risk tolerance.
• Manage construction-related insurance programs (Builder's Risk, OCIP/CCIP, Contractor’s Pollution Liability, Professional Liability).
• Coordinate claims handling with carriers and internal stakeholders; analyze loss trends to reduce future incidents.
• Prepare executive-level reporting on risk exposures and insurance performance.
