Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Manager to join our team. You will lead end-to-end risk management on multiple projects, including schedule and cost risk assessments and collaboration with project controls.

Strong experience in construction risk, client-facing communication and multidisciplinary teams is expected. The role involves maintaining risk budgets, creating risk management plans, and providing strategic risk advice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of applicable experience.
• Experience in Program Management or Program Controls environments.
• Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification, facilitation and techniques.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercial models and delivery methods.
• Proficient in process mapping, root cause analysis, problem solving and value-stream mapping.
• Familiarity with web-based database tools – ARM, Predict, Tableau.
• Highly self-motivated, analytical and customer centric.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points for risk cost profiling and budget management.
• Use risk data to inform investment planning.
• Monitor overall risk exposure and assess remaining risk budget.
• Collaborate with contractors to assess contractor-held risks and client-held risks.
• Produce risk reports to communicate threat and opportunity status.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform contingency levels.
• Lead end-to-end risk management across multiple projects/programs.
• Create risk management plans and processes aligned to client requirements and frameworks.
• Perform regular risk reviews, identify, analyze and plan responses.
