Job summary

Premier Resources Group in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead risk management and compliance for a growing construction organization. This onsite, full-time role oversees insurance programs, subcontractor prequalification, contractual risk transfer, and wrap-up initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction risk management or commercial insurance, with strong knowledge of OCIP/CCIP wrap-up, insurance policies, and risk transfer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction risk management and/or commercial insurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance and construction-related risk.
• Experience with contractual risk transfer.
• Experience with subcontractor prequalification and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of OCIP/CCIP wrap-up programs.
• Ability to review and interpret insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and certificates.
• Experience reviewing contractual insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day risk management and compliance programs.
• Identify potential project and organizational risks and drive issues through resolution.
• Develop and strengthen risk management procedures, controls, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve risk and compliance processes.
• Partner with Operations, Legal, Accounting, Safety, and project teams on risk-related matters.
• Serve as a primary internal resource for construction risk and insurance questions.
• Review and interpret commercial insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and certificates.
• Coordinate insurance renewals, underwriting activities, and required documentation.
• Oversee subcontractor prequalification and ongoing compliance.
• Oversee OCIP/CCIP wrap-up programs from enrollment through reporting, audits, and closeout.
• Coordinate with insurance brokers, carriers, owners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and oversight to Risk Management support staff.
• Promote consistent risk management and compliance practices across projects.
