Job summary

MBP (McDonough Bolyard Peck) is seeking a project risk consultant to support qualitative and quantitative risk management activities across federal, state/local, education, healthcare, and transit sectors. You will lead and support risk management tasks from inception to completion, developing risk plans and registers in collaboration with project teams.

The role requires facilitating risk interviews and workshops, applying a probabilistic impact framework, and performing cost/schedule risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industry-related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience in qualitative risk management for design/construction
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration

Responsibilities

• Lead or support risk management assignments through full lifecycle
• Develop risk management plans and risk reports
• Coordinate with project teams to identify risks and create risk registers
• Facilitate risk interviews, workshops, and meetings
• Use Probability/Impact Matrix to rate risks
• Perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis
• Prioritize risks for further analysis
• Track and manage actions to mitigate risks
• Monitor evolving risks with project managers
