Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Risk Management Specialist to join the Project Controls team in New York.

You will identify, assess, and mitigate risks to quality, schedule, and financial performance across programs and projects. The role requires translating complex risk data into actionable insights for project stakeholders, leading workshops, maintaining risk registers, and supporting risk-based decision making with dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program risk management within construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
• Risk Management Professional (RMP), Project Risk Management Professional (PRMP), or DRMP preferred; ability to obtain within six months is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate structured risk identification workshops with project teams and stakeholders.
• Utilize industry-standard tools to identify and evaluate risks impacting timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Analyze project documentation to uncover vulnerabilities and perform cost/schedule uncertainty modeling (Monte Carlo).
• Develop and maintain risk registers and event models; translate risk data into actionable insights.
• Prepare and present risk reports, dashboards, and executive summaries; facilitate risk review meetings.
