Job summary

MBP is seeking a project risk consultant to support qualitative and quantitative risk management across federal, state/local, education, healthcare and transit sectors. You will lead or support risk assignments, develop risk plans, and coordinate with project teams to identify risks and implement responses.

The role emphasizes facilitating risk interviews, using risk matrices, and performing cost/schedule risk analysis while maintaining risk registers and communicating findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an industry-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of construction, principles of construction management and project controls.
• Recent experience in risk identification, analysis and management for similar scope.
• Familiarity with scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, and construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project risk management assignments across the lifecycle.
• Develop risk management plans.
• Coordinate with teams to identify risks and develop risk reports and registers.
• Facilitate risk interviews, workshops, and risk meetings.
• Develop a Probability and Impact Matrix to rate risks.
• Perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis.
• Prioritize risks for further analysis.
• Record and guide actions to manage/mitigate risks.
• Support managers to monitor evolving risks.
