American Global is seeking a Risk Engineering Advisor to join its Risk Engineering Services team in the New York/New Jersey area. You will serve as a trusted advisor to construction clients, delivering practical risk management, safety, and loss control expertise to reduce exposures and improve performance.

The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, delivering trainings, and staying current on industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• Professional certifications (CSP, ASP, GSP, CHST, ARM, CRIS, OSHA 500/510) are a plus.
• Experience with construction risk management and loss control practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized risk management, safety, and loss control programs.
• Conduct construction site assessments and provide practical recommendations.
• Deliver safety trainings, toolbox talks, and seminars for clients and colleagues.
• Coordinate and support Construction Safety Week and other safety initiatives.
• Partner with clients to strengthen safety culture and compliance.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors, carriers, and industry partners.
• Identify and manage vendor resources to enhance safety and loss control.
