Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, environmental science or related field preferred.
  • Experience as a Remediation/Construction Manager or Supervisor.
  • Deep understanding of OSHA, RCRA, remediation and construction management methods.
  • Deep understanding of OSHA, RCRA, remediaton and construction management methods and processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes.
  • Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicaitons (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project).
  • Experience with Trimble Base Stations and Rover applications.
  • Ability to break large projects into small steps.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of projects: Budget, Schedule, Compliance, QA/QC.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure all professionals on site comply with safety regulations
  • Schedule key deliverables and milestones and ensure progress is being made
  • Estimate costs and keep the project within budget
  • Coordinate subcontractors and outside contractors
  • Supervise and direct laborers and equipment operators
  • Report on progress
  • Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise
  • Foster teamwork and collaborative relationships with clients, engineers, supervisors, operators, laborers, and subcontractors.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction/Remediation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the construction/remediation projects and ensure they progress on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in heavy equipment operations, environmental regulations, safety, budgeting, remediation methods, and environmental treatment systems with a proven track record of successful project completions.

Training Requirements
  • Current Certifications Required:
    • 40 Hour HAZWHOPER with current 8 Hour Refresher
    • EM-385 Safety Training
    • 30 Hour OSHA Construction Training
    • DOT Hazardous Materials Training
  • Preferred, but Not Required:
    • USACE QC Training
    • Site Safety Officer Training
    • First Aid/CPR/AED Training
