Job summary

M&J Engineering, D.P.C. is seeking a Construction Record Keeper to maintain project records, track changes, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. This role requires independent work with supervision for unusual issues.

Responsibilities include coordinating with inspectors and contractor staff, preparing correspondence and reports, and maintaining organized filing for each project. A High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with confidential recordkeeping and reporting.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction inspectors and contractor staff to ensure records reflect changes.
• Attend pre-construction meetings to coordinate with contractor’s bookkeeper on record-keeping procedures.
• Monitor compliance with federal requirements related to Equal Employment Opportunity and wages.
• Composes, reviews, and maintains correspondence, reports, supporting documents and files.
• Maintains filing structure for each construction project within assigned area.
• Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
