Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's side. You will write the project quality plan and oversee contractor/supplier quality, audits, and vendor qualification.

You will manage nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned, and report metrics to project leadership and the owner's quality organization across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects, including 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification; ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infra, or federal work.
• Ability to write and enforce quality requirements contractors can execute.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
