Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's or EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audit programs, qualify vendors, and report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization.

You will lead contractor and supplier audits, review QC plans, manage nonconformances, and drive lessons learned.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can execute and enforce

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization
• Work with project manager and client QA to ensure turnover readiness
