Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's/EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audit programs for contractors and suppliers, qualify vendors, and report quality performance to project management and the owner's quality organization.

You will oversee contractor quality managers, ensure records for turnover are complete, and guide nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons

Qualifications

6+ years of quality experience on construction or industrial capital projects.
2+ years leading a project quality program.
Experience writing quality requirements for contractors and enforcing them.

Responsibilities

Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements derived from it.
Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
