Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side, drafting the project quality plan, and establishing surveillance and audit programs for contractors and suppliers. You will qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors and report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization.

You will oversee contractor QC plans, review ITPs and inspector qualifications, and manage nonconformance,

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects; 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification; ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes; report quality metrics and risks to project leadership.
