Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large-scale civil, industrial, or federal projects. You will write the QC plan, run three-phase meetings, and own test results and NCR resolutions with field inspectors reporting to you.

Requirements include 6+ years in QC, USACE CQM-C and NICET Level III or ICC Special Inspector certifications, plus the ability to travel to active sites and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner programs.
• Writes clearly under pressure with owner representatives.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for each feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run NCR process and present in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
