Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on heavy civil, industrial, or federal projects. You will write the project quality control plan, run the three-phase control meetings, and be the primary liaison with the owner's QA representative on test results and nonconformances.

Candidates should have 6+ years in QC or special inspection and hold USACE CQM-C, ICC Special Inspector, or NICET Level III certifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner programs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and gain acceptance by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for each definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run nonconformance and corrective-action process and present in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
