Job summary

Mortenson seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality systems on medium to large projects. You will collaborate with staff at all levels, implement Quality Management Plans, and drive corrective actions with a focus on detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, managing non-conformances, and mentoring engineers. Strong Excel and Primavera Unifier skills, plus construction quality know-how, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a project’s quality system in design/engineering/construction.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks across projects.
• Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9000, Lean, Kaizen, or related standards.
• Proficient in Excel and Primavera Unifier; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mortenson’s quality system on medium to large projects.
• Implement Quality Management Plan from start to final acceptance.
• Establish and lead quality control initiatives and corrective actions.
• Review project plans for quality requirements.
• Manage Quality Events, punch lists, and non-conformance notices.
• Mentor Field and Project Engineers; support career development.
