Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality system on medium to large projects and ensure robust corrective actions. The role requires collaboration with staff at all levels and a proactive approach to quality management.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least three years of experience in construction quality, and strong skills in Excel and Primavera Unifier. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field and minimum three years’ experience in quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks across projects.
• Basic understanding of construction law and standard business practices.
• Proficient in Excel and Primavera Unifier for quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mortenson’s quality system on medium to large projects.
• Implement Quality Management Plan from start to final acceptance.
• Establish and lead quality control initiatives and corrective actions.
• Review project plans for quality requirements.
• Manage Quality Events, punch lists, and non-conformance notices.
• Coordinate with PMs, superintendents, and third parties as needed.
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers’ quality programs.
• Coach and mentor field and project engineers on quality practices.
