Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality system on medium to large projects in the Omaha area. The role requires interaction with staff at all levels and a proactive, confidential approach.

You will drive corrective actions and oversee external design and testing agencies. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field and at least three years of experience managing a project’s quality system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field and 3+ years guiding a quality system on projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Knowledge of quality systems (Baldridge, ISO 9000, Lean) and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mortenson’s quality system on medium to large projects.
• Implement Quality Management Plan from start to final acceptance.
• Establish quality initiatives and corrective actions.
• Review plans for quality requirements and manage non-conformances.
• Oversee third-party design/testing agencies and supplier quality.
• Coach field engineers and support project teams’ development.
• Document and analyze the quality system for continuous improvement.
