Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and optimize the quality system on medium to large projects. The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and confidentiality while ensuring corrective actions are taken.

You will manage quality events, reviews, and coordination with design and testing agencies, while mentoring Field and Project Engineers. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required along with 3+ years of quality leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field.
• Minimum three years' experience in design, engineering, or construction with leadership of a project's quality system.
• Knowledge of quality systems such as Baldridge, ISO 9000, Lean or Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mortenson's quality system on medium to large projects.
• Implement Quality Management Plan from start to final acceptance.
• Establish and lead quality control initiatives and corrective actions.
• Review project plans for quality requirements.
• Manage Quality Events, punch lists, and Non-Conformance Notices.
• Coach Field and Project Engineers and mentor career development.
