Job summary

Mortenson seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality system on medium to large projects, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken and plans are followed through to final acceptance.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor field and project engineers while coordinating with design and testing agencies. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil, architectural engineering or construction management or equivalent field.
• Minimum three years’ experience leading a project’s quality system.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality system on medium to large projects.
• Implement Quality Management Plan from start to final acceptance.
• Establish and lead quality control initiatives and corrective actions.
• Review project plans for quality requirements.
• Manage Quality Events, punch lists, and Non-Conformance Notices.
• Coordinate with third-party design/testing agencies.
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers' quality programs.
• Coach Field/Project Engineers and support career development.
