Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a Quality Inspector I for the Dallas project. The role ensures compliance with contract quality requirements through inspections, material testing, and documentation.

Entry level to 5 years of QA/QC experience is preferred. Travel may be required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to support field teams and ensure Right The First Time construction quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of QA/QC standards and publications.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support quality management tasks: captures, tests, inspections, submittals, and procedures.
• Conduct field inspections to verify contract compliance and document findings.
• Perform material testing (concrete, soils, masonry, steel) with certified testers.
• Identify safety/quality issues and report to management; assist with THA/TQA and JHA.
• Ensure materials meet submittals and are stored/handled per specs.
• Coordinate with foremen and engineers to ensure Right The First Time quality.
• Maintain access to drawings, RFIs, SDS; track quantities of work.
