Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Quality Inspector I for the DFW project in Dallas, TX. You will support quality managers, conduct field inspections, perform material testing per contract requirements, and help manage documentation and submittals to ensure compliance.

Entry level to 5 years in QA/QC, high school diploma or technical college, and relevant certifications are valued. Some travel is required as part of site operations and coordination with foremen and engineers.

Qualifications

• Entry level to 5 years of experience in QA/QC.
• Industry certifications as required to conduct testing and inspection.
• High school diploma required.
• Technical college or industry experience preferred.
• Good communication skills, ability to learn on the job and problem solving abilities
• Knowledge of standards, specifications and publications of job related duties
• Some travel required.
• Ability to transport under 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections to ensure contract compliance and document results.
• Perform material testing as required by contract and industry standards.
• Assist with inspections and safety planning on the project site.
• Prepare and manage documentation, submittals and procedures for project compliance.
• Review material certifications and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Support project staff with access to drawings, RFIs, and SDS.
