M. A. Mortenson Company is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee quality control across assigned project scopes. You will work with senior quality managers on larger projects and drive corrective actions to ensure conformance with project requirements.

The role supports Career progression at Levels 1 and 2, with base pay ranges reflecting experience and location. Eligible benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in design, engineering, or construction.
• Knowledge of the design‑bid‑build process.
• Ability to conduct constructability and design reviews and submittal reviews.

Responsibilities

• Foster teamwork and promote diversity on the project.
• Serve as a technical resource for project staff.
• Implement the Quality Management Plan for assigned work.
• Oversee materials quality inspections and non-conformances.
• Manage NCNs and RFIs through corrective actions.
• Train project personnel on roles and processes.
• Resolve technical issues with customers and subcontractors.
• Share best practices to improve margin and reduce risk.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds.
