Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements. You will write the project quality control plan, lead three-phase control meetings, and own the test results and nonconformances.

Qualifications

6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection
2+ years supervising inspectors
Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs
Writes clearly and holds the line in a room of superintendents and owner representatives

Responsibilities

Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency
Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work
Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians
assign daily coverage and review their reports
Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings
Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors
