Job summary

Clark Construction Group in McLean, VA is seeking a Quality Control Manager to ensure project work meets contract documents, owner requirements, and building codes. You will lead a quality control team, coordinate with owner, design teams, and contractors, and manage the Three Phases of Control plan.

This hands-on role requires 5–8+ years in construction QC/inspection, strong communication, and the ability to recruit and develop staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8+ years verifiable construction quality control and/or inspection experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders (e.g., executive team, leadership team, direct reports, clients, trade partners, third party providers).

Responsibilities

• Partner with the project team to understand, plan, and implement the contract drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with the owner, design team, and contractors to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion.
• Implement and manage the “Three Phases of Control” Quality Control Plan.
• Oversee submittal review and approval.
• Schedule and conduct quality control meetings.
