Job summary

The Ross Group Construction Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead daily project quality control, inspect work, and ensure contract compliance across multiple sites. You will coordinate with the Owner’s quality assurance rep and oversee safety practices for on-site personnel and visitors.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years’ experience as a Quality Control Manager with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven successful project history of maintaining quality, schedule, safety, and cost; ability to manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Quality Control Plan for a $2.5 million to $20 million project.
• Coordinate with the project manager to provide quality control updates and advise on issues affecting progress.
• Coordinate, oversee, and review outside testing agencies for proper techniques and contract compliance.
• Oversee subcontractor submittals and the submittal register.
• Order and receive needed materials and equipment.
• Coordinate weekly safety meetings and safety-related quality control elements.
• Monitor quality and safety practices daily and maintain safety logs.
