Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company in Austin, TX, is seeking a Construction / QC Internship for March–May 2027. Students will gain hands-on experience in materials testing, asphalt quality control, and field-based construction research while collaborating with laboratory technicians, inspectors, and operations staff.

You will learn test methods, assist with data collection and analysis, and observe field QA procedures in a team environment, with safety at the forefront and opportunities to network

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Available to work full-time during May–August 2026.
• Comfort with hands-on testing and data collection in a lab and field setting.

Responsibilities

• Learn how asphalt materials are produced through hands-on exposure to hot‑mix plant operations.
• Support quality monitoring during production, including sampling, inspection, and process tracking.
• Assist with data collection, documentation, and analysis to support mix design verification.
