Job summary

Suburban Drywall Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and the Director of Operations on multi-family and commercial construction projects.

You will assist with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and administrative tasks across the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, customer-focused, and looking to build a long-term career in construction operations and project management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Procore, especially Project Financials module.
• Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, Outlook; Bluebeam beneficial.
• Associate’s degree or greater in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture, beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with blueprints, drawings, specifications, and construction documents beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects.
• Coordinate data between field teams and internal stakeholders.
• Help identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule, budget, or customer satisfaction.
• Assist with setting up project budgets, job cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Support change order management, billing documentation, and contract administration activities.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, and production performance.
• Ensure project documentation and financial records remain accurate and up to date.
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, meeting minutes, contracts, and closeout documents.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate project records and support reporting needs.
• Assist with project startup and closeout processes.
• Take increasing ownership of project responsibilities and decision-making.
• Support process improvement initiatives that improve project performance and operational efficiency.
