Job summary

WS Development in Boston, MA seeks a Project Manager to support its construction team on new and existing projects. You will oversee construction progress, ensure compliance with contract documents, and manage budgets, schedules, change orders, and monthly billing.

Collaborating with Development, Leasing, Studio, Accounting and Operations, you will guide projects from budgeting and permitting through construction to turnover and help transition each project into an operating business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with ability to manage multiple projects.
• 3-5 years of experience in ground up or retail construction; coop/internship valued.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude; travel regionally and nationally.
• OSHA 10 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field activities of contractors to meet budgets and schedules.
• Review and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, tenant designs, fire safety plan submissions and proposed modifications; lead meetings as needed to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Development, Leasing, Studio, Accounting and Operations through budgeting, permitting, construction and turnover phases.
• Partner with Operations to transition each project into an operating business.
