Job summary

The Haskell Company in Jacksonville, FL seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead design/build and construction management projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget. You will supervise teams, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and drive project performance from start to finish.

Ideal candidates bring a degree in engineering or construction mgmt with several years of relevant industrial water/wastewater project experience, strong leadership, and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management; 3 years' Industrial Water/Wastewater project experience preferred
• Experience in design/build, construction management, or construct-only projects
• Ability to travel per project requirements and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Assists project directors in responding to RFPs, preparing estimates, schedules and proposals
• Monitors design documents, reviews constructability, scope and cost changes
• Prepares detailed estimates, cost codes, and cost control systems
• Prepares bid packages, analyzes bids, selects subcontractors and issues purchases
• Plans project organization with superintendent and PCE requirements
• Schedules projects with input from superintendent and subs, conducts meetings
• Manages project cost reports and status summaries
• Coordinates permits, inspections, and approvals with authorities
• Maintains submittal control and expedites materials
• Manages client relations, meetings, reports, change orders and inquiries
• Prepares payment requisitions and optimizes cash flow
• Manages contract changes and updates budget reports
• Oversees subcontractor payments and insurance
• Addresses subcontractor performance issues
• Monitors project progress, quality, safety and compliance
• Mentors construction personnel and supports training
• Handles project close-out and warranty work
