Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Project Manager I in Jacksonville to lead construction projects from assignment through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You’ll coordinate across design, field operations, and client teams to deliver on schedule and budget.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and have 3+ years of construction management experience. Travel is required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in construction management.
• Experience with water/wastewater, municipal utilities, or industrial process construction preferred.
• Able to travel per project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field management, safety, quality, and compliance with project specs and regulations.
• Coordinate with superintendent to ensure testing, commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness.
• Maintain submittal control for equipment and materials; manage as-builts and redline drawings.
• Plan schedules and sequences with input from superintendent and subs.
• Establish procurement strategies for long-lead equipment and materials.
• Monitor design documents and participate in design reviews for constructability and cost.
• Manage project start-up, turnover, warranties, and owner operations manuals.
• Maintain strong client relations with municipal clients, utilities, and engineers.
