Job summary

penninvest-group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to remotely coordinate Pittsburgh projects, oversee contractors, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

The role involves managing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting, with opportunities for local/on-site work as needed and collaboration with a U.S.-based construction team. Ideal candidates have a construction-related degree and 2+ years of leadership in similar roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in coordinating construction teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate the work of contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to construction schedules.
• Oversee the quality of construction work.
• Verify completed work quantities and ensure compliance with project documentation.
• Monitor materials, equipment, and resource utilization.
• Work with estimates, budgets, and construction costs.
• Review and analyze project and technical documentation.
• Maintain construction and as-built documentation.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans and technical requirements.
• Communicate with management, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate their resolution.
• Prepare regular project progress reports.
