You will be responsible for ensuring efficient construction project operations, as well as overseeing all administrative processes of a project, and ensuring project timelines are met and remain within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of a construction project, in collaboration with Development and Superintendent team(s).
  • Obtain cost evaluation and plan review of pre-construction proposals and projects.
  • Supervise construction activities at job sites, including creating and monitoring work schedules and controlling the scope and quality of work.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Construction to approve payments and review final costs for all projects.
  • Create project schedule during project setup including MS Project Master and 6 week look-ahead; partner with the Superintendent to maintain its continued accuracy.
  • Monitor and update all project paperwork including change orders, RFI’s, submittal logs, monthly project reports, etc.
  • Review each phase of documents and fills gaps in scope while providing trackable feedback in a collaborative manner that sets the standards for document quality.
  • Coordinate site visits to construction sites nationwide to inspect all work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and Lazy Dog standards.
  • Administer the billing and collection process; send timely applications for payment and follow up assertively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, design team, teammates, subcontractors, and all other outside parties critical to projects success; ensure close collaboration and communication.
  • Facilitate successful turnover, complete post turnover punch list in a timely manner and obtain all tenant improvements as needed.
  • Coordinate applicable store remodels, as well as non-traditional and licensee project due diligence and construction, as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or related field preferred.
  • CCM, PMI, OSHA and other certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a successful Project Manager for a General Contractor, restaurant construction experience preferred.
  • Proficient in understanding construction documents and have working knowledge of basic zoning, building and ADA codes as they relate to project plans and design.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Project Management software, Bluebeam and Procore power user, as well as have basic AutoCAD understanding.
  • Deep knowledge of Structural and MEP’s.
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time, and/or as needed.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets and meet deadlines.
