Our datasets combine crowdsourced and controlled, public and private collection methods, QoS and QoE metrics, and more to unlock correlations and actionable insights—helping organizations optimize networks, enhance digital experiences, and create better connected experiences for end-users.

Our team is passionate and inspired by possibility. We seek team members who love solving problems, are motivated by challenges, and enjoy turning clever ideas into exceptional products. Working with us means using Ookla data and insights to advance better connectivity for all.

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager within the Product organization. The ideal candidate is familiar with Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and supports enterprise-level hardware and software products. You will collaborate with teams in the US, Dublin, and Helsinki, working closely with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to ensure project scope, dependencies, and deadlines are managed effectively.

The candidate should have successfully led and independently managed enterprise software and hardware projects, ensuring timely delivery using best practices. You will act as the main point of contact for multiple projects, ensuring visibility, accountability, and communication with stakeholders including Sales and Executives. You should be detail-oriented with excellent communication, analytical, and abstract thinking skills, able to influence without authority, and experienced in building relationships with business and technology partners.

What You'll Do:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Agile Coaches and Product teams to prioritize backlog and align on requirements.
  • Conduct project status meetings to track progress, identify roadblocks, and facilitate resolution or hand-offs.
  • Provide clear status reports and develop dashboards for sales and executives.
  • Review priorities, project deliverables, and articulate issues or blockers in cross-team meetings.

Expectations for Success:

  • Create project plans supporting the company roadmap, breaking down deliverables into phases and milestones.
  • Manage project timelines with Jira Plans, including dependencies and risks.
  • Track interdependencies, assess risks, and develop contingency plans across teams.
  • Assist teams with work estimation and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular reviews, gather feedback, and communicate outputs.
  • Exhibit leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and resolve blockers promptly.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of enterprise-level hardware and software project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Confluence, and Google Suite.
  • Deep experience with Jira dashboards and administration.
  • Strong Google Sheets skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Proven experience across the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • PMI or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in telecommunications, networking fundamentals, and data ingestion.
  • Understanding of large-scale AWS infrastructure, Redshift, Athena, and embedded hardware for mobile devices.
