Our client, an electric vehicle manufacturer, is actively looking for a Digital Workplace Product/Project Manager to join their team in Irvine, CA! This role is 100% remote however candidates must be semi-local in order to get converted in the future.

***This is a 1 year contract to hire position***

This Product/Project Manager will greatly impact the organization while they build and shape the solutions across varied departments to better the overall employee experience throughout their onboarding and tenure. As part of the Digital Workplace & Solutions & Enterprise Productivity Apps team, you will define, design, and implement the solutions related to employee onboarding & offboarding, custom collaboration experiences, and general solutions to empower better cross-collaboration between teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vendor conversations to help build and maintain crucial relationships with product suppliers
• Responsible for full life- cycle of projects from initiation to completion
• Apply IT project management methodology and appropriate project management framework for all projects
• Develop requests for proposal (RFPs)
• Successfully initiate, plan, execute and close all project deliverables as committed
• Responsible for managing the overall planning, execution, and delivery of projects including:

-Defining the project scope, roles, tasks, milestones, budgets and measures of success

-Developing project estimates and plans to manage the end-to end project execution

-Responsible for tracking project status and managing project issues and risks including:

-Monitoring projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress/quality, managing issue resolution

-Managing the process to assess gaps and develop action plans to address these gaps

-Monitoring financial delivery and issue management processes, and escalating issues

-Promoting and monitoring compliance activities with audit and information policies

-Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties

-Author and update internal and external documentation and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience working as an IT Project/Product Manager with a strong focus on employee experience, collaboration or productivity applications
• Hands on experience streamlining and defining custom solutions, maintenance, and ongoing operational excellence of production systems
• Strong experience working cross-functionally, writing solid documentation, and working in an Agile environment
• Must be a strong communicator
