Job summary

JLL is hiring a Construction Project Manager in Fresno, CA to independently manage small to medium-scale capital and tenant improvement projects across client portfolios. You will lead end-to-end delivery, including scope development, procurement, schedule management, and budget oversight, with travel up to 40% within Northern California.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive PM experience on construction projects.
• Experience independently managing projects from initiation to closeout.
• Proven track record on projects $250K–$1M or multi-trade scopes.
• Strong financial acumen including budget forecasting and variance analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-size projects independently from initiation through closeout.
• Develop charters, schedules, and work breakdown structures; manage critical path and site visits.
• Procure and manage contractors and vendors; negotiate contracts within authority limits.
• Chair project meetings; manage change orders and stakeholder communications.
• Develop and manage budgets; handle POs, invoices, and monthly reports.
• Serve as primary client contact; maintain relationships and deliver status updates.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure compliance with standards.
