Job summary

Allegheny Construction Specialties seeks a Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through completion, focusing on profitability and client satisfaction. You will work with the Superintendent to align activities, supervise with field teams, and ensure continuous communication across stakeholders.

The role requires 3–5 years of construction management experience, strong scheduling skills (MS Project, Sure Trak), and proficiency in Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in construction management.
• Proficient with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and Sure Trak, plus MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reviews contract documents upon assignment of projects.
• Reviews plans and specifications; discusses deviations with the estimator.
• Orders critical path job materials and enters purchase orders/commitments.
• Buys out subcontracts on projects.
• Coordinates project game plan with the Superintendent, Foremen, subcontractors and customer.
• Establishes and conducts post-award hand-off meetings to ensure all details are communicated.
• Schedules needed project labor and equipment on scheduling software; updates master database.
• Monitors job progress daily using productivity reports and cost data; communicates remedial actions as needed.
• Prepares monthly project review analysis and post-mortem analyses in collaboration with the Superintendent/Foreman.
• Coordinates value engineering efforts and establishes schedule of values; ensures reporting aligns with estimates.
• Maintains communications between ACS, customers, subcontractors, architects and engineers; manages extras and quality issues.
• Manages project documentation including contracts, drawings, submittals and purchase orders.
• Coordinates with VP of Project Management to ensure communication of billing schedules.
