Job summary

Intelligence and National Security Alliance in Long Beach, CA seeks an experienced estimator/PM to oversee bid review, cost control, and field coordination. You will manage schedules, values, and procurement, coordinating with subs and the general contractor to keep projects on track.

The role requires 5 years of estimating or project management experience and a college degree, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to growth. On-site work expected.

Qualifications

• College Degree required.
• 5 years’ industry-specific estimating or project management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Meet with estimating team to review bid docs and transition to PM/field personnel.
• Create and maintain project file systems, OST plan viewer, bid qty, PL and production reports.
• Review proposals and P&L to prepare schedules and schedule of values.
• Review materials, equipment, labor and subcontracts for buys and submittals.
• Ensure proper distributions of blueprints to field personnel, suppliers, and subs.
• Perform take-offs and cost estimates as needed.
• Coordinate with superintendents to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Review project status, costs, and ensure budgets are maintained.
• Prepare change orders, field work orders, RFIs, and related reports.
• Review and verify invoices for cost accounting.
