Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction lifecycle across a growing multi-site portfolio. This in-person role reports to senior leadership and requires strong execution, vendor coordination, and a hands-on, proactive approach.

You will manage budgets and schedules, coordinate permits and contractor bids, and collaborate with Development and Engineering to ensure constructability and timely completion.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in project management within real estate, construction, or related capital-projects.
• Multi Site Regional / National Experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of professional experience.
• Understanding of construction procedures and PM methodologies (PMI a plus).
• Experience managing multiple construction projects with competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience communicating project status to senior leadership or executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact on project status, surfacing budget, schedule, and risk updates.
• Build and maintain cost reports, schedules, and completion forecasts for leadership visibility.
• Lead the construction process end-to-end, including permits, bids, contractor selection, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with internal Development and Engineering to finalize design and identify constructability issues.
• Direct vendors/consultants and drive process standardization across a growing site network.
• Communicate schedules and company policies to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach mutual agreements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
