Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and understand commercial plans, specs and details.
• Must be proficient in Excel and Word and commercial estimating software.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of construction plans, OSHA procedures and waterproofing products and installation.
• Must be able to create a comprehensive estimate for any project.
• Must be extremely self-motivated and organized to multi-task between pre- and post-project duties.
• Willing to help uphold a company culture built on respect, self-improvement, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure scopes are completed per standards and profitable.
• Operate company equipment, vehicles, and small tools.
• Communicate with owners and engineers to create bids.
• Perform accurate take-offs.
• Collect current pricing from vendors.
• Ensure materials and scope clarifications are documented for Foreman and crew.
• Initiate submittal process after award and provide necessary information.
• Ensure PO and paperwork are completed including changes and shop drawings.
• Visit sites to manage projects and align with owner expectations.
• Communicate scheduling needs to the Foreman and ownership team.
• Finalize contracts at close-out with warranties and inspections.
