Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
• Working knowledge of plans, specifications, building codes, and cost drivers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software; CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review design documents, plans and specs to develop profitable cost estimates for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with customers to capture requirements and modify designs to meet budget constraints.
• Assess material, labor, subcontractor, and equipment costs and craft project schedules.
• Generate RFIs to clarify specs and ensure accurate pricing.
• Communicate estimate status and risks to stakeholders and manage multiple projects.
