Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Project Manager for large-scale commercial construction projects in the DC Metro / Northern Virginia region. You will be a key member of a project team, coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of commercial construction leadership experience.
• Training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of high-performance project teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Communicate with owners, architects, and subcontractors on risk, timetables, costs/budgets, and change management.
• Define scope of work and deliverables.
• Prepare bid packages and manage the CM bid process.
• Coordinate development and delivery of project planning services with the Project Planning Leader.
• Oversee timely processing of project information documents relating to the contract, bulletins, and change orders.
